New Boat, and a New Blog

It's been a long time since I posted anything new here, mainly because I sold the 340 back in 2016, and I have been so busy with my career and home remodeling that there wasn't really time to enjoy boating.  I have since semi-retired, and the Admiral and I did purchase another boat earlier this year. And yes, I have started with the deferred maintenance and upgrades.

The new ride is a 2005 Cruisers Yachts 500 Express, powered by twin Volvo D12 diesels, rated at 715 hp each, and coupled to ZF-325-IV V-drive transmissions.  The new blog is located here:

I'll try to update the new blog as time permits, but there are a lot of demands on my time still, so please be patient.  I do have some pretty extensive work planned, over the coming couple years.

Sold!

Well, she's gone.  A wonderful couple from Ohio are now enjoying Mustang on Lake Erie, so if you see them out there, give a wave!  Hopefully next year, I'll be toying with a Sea Ray 460 or possibly 500/510, so stay tuned.....

For Sale

Just so everyone is aware, this is a freshwater boat - we are located up the Hudson River North of Newburgh.  Some people have the mistaken belief that this is a saltwater boat, which is not correct.  If you're interested in knowing more, my cell number is: (914) 760-7645.

Engine Room Pictures

Here are a few from the engine room.....

It still looks the same as it did when the engines went in.  That's the advantage of a dry engine room!

For Sale

Well, the time has come to bid farewell to our beloved 340, and start looking for the next project.  So much has been done to this boat that it is impossible to list everything here, but I'll try over the next few posts.  For now, here are a few pics I took over the last few weeks.  Anyone interested in owning the finest 340 available should call me on my cell:  (914) 760-7645.

Ooopppsss...

Thanks to a ClubSeaRay member, I have been alerted to a typographical error in an earlier post, wherein the phone number to DD Fabrication & Marine was incorrect - wrong area code.  Thank you, Scott!  So, to anyone who has been trying to reach the business, the area code is corrected in that post, and I will place the number again here (845) 564-2106.  If any of you were trying to reach us, you have our apologies.
